A ton of old game controllers and handheld consoles!

I play a lot of retro games, and use adapters to connect them to my PC for that extra bit of authenticity in emulation

Our couches are somewhere around 6th hand, probably more. The two single seaters are still going strong, but the two seater recently had its back go out. I'm going to try to fix it, but it probably won't last.

The one I'll pick to share is my desk. It was a teachers desk and the drawers are full of signatures from kids in the classes. No date but the desk had the top restored by a guy I knew over 20 years ago. It was given to me a few years later and I've used it ever since.

Loads of things.

Kitchen: My stove us 30+ years old. Loads of kitchen gadgets, too. The older knife set my wife uses (she is too afraid to use mine), but mine might touch the 20 years, too.

Living room: The table is 30+, as well as the side table I made.

Basement: The shelves I built 30ish years ago - and they will probably last longest, as they are welded from steel.

And thousands of other things.

I have a moka pot from my dad that I don't use super frequently (every once in a while I try to learn how to do cuban-style espresso, otherwise I just drink drio coffee), but it's 30-40 years old.

A Honda Transalp from 1999. I still ride it to work. Throw in some oil, keep the battery fresh and she’ll never let you down. I’ve had the seat reupholstered and of course the usual wear items replaced (done most of that myself) and it just keeps going. I asked a mechanic to do the valve clearance check at 50.000km and he didn’t need to touch anything.

Fantastic machine, I’m gonna ride it until the wheels fall off.

Old Westinghouse vent fans/ heaters in the bathrooms. Things are easily 50 years old.

So 2006. Lots. Washer im sure. This single strap backpack I have. Lots of clothes. Some of my dogs toys are hand me downs from my last dog. Don't think I have any electronics that have made it. Although I gave my dvd player to my brother a few years back. There has to be others as we don't get rid of things unless they no longer function. Oh. Actually a but load of basic tools.

The janky fluorescent anglepoise desk lamp. It's about 30 years old and I've changed the bulb once.

The house itself is going on 80 (or might have passed it already; I have conflicting information on when it was built).

Half of my furniture is antique, with one large built-in cabinet having been salvaged from a house even older than mine.

I have no idea how old my gas range is, but I got it out of my in-laws' house a decade and a half ago and they'd had it for years before that.

My silverware is a hand-me-down from my mom, and is probably older than I am.

My newest car (out of too many) is a 2007 model, I think, which means it might've been built in 2006. Most of the others are from the '90s.

My previous daily-driver bike (which remains my backup after getting a cargo e-bike) is from circa 1991. Of my family's dozen+ bikes, there are only three that I know for a fact are less than 20 years old.

A surprising amount of stuff I have was found on the curb after other people threw it out, and is of indeterminate age.

All the large kitchen appliances came with this place. I'm sure the oven is over 20 years old and maybe also the dishwasher. When I got here the dishwasher didn't work and it took me ages to determine the main pump had rusted solid. An eBay replacement later and it's been working for 6 years.

My turntable, about 30 years old. Had to replace the needle about 20 years ago, but it still works like a charm.

I have a cheese shredder that is from before the 1980s. I'm not sure what its actual age is. It looks and feels like something from the Gold Rush days. It's metal, it's got that old timey metal look to it (not polished), it has a wooden handle, and it basically spins a circular shredder with a hand crank. It's probably from the 1950s. You can't put a lot of cheese in it, but it works well.

Our kitchen table is over 20 years old, but we don't use it as a kitchen table. Mostly it just collects junk. We eat in front of the TV like a lot of modern couples.

I recently found a hat I got 30 years ago and still have. I don't wear hats though, so it's been mostly unused.

My house was built in 1999, my furnace in the attic is original. 27 years old and going strong. True every year I need to blow it to get it up and running, but compared to the alternative I'll take it!

In a similar vein, the gas fireplace is also original and also going strong.

Silverware would probably be the oldest, my wife's grandmother bought them in the early 1900s as antiques, and then some "modern" accessories that matched, now antiques themselves. They get used on special occasions mostly.

I have a slow cooker thats ~30yrs old, works great.

The DVD/VHS player with FireWire for minidv is also used while I convert old family videos to digital, and my old dv camcorder is now in my daughter's hands to try making movies with her friends.

I'm sure there's more, but thats off the top of my head.

A carving knife and steel that was probably made before the 2000's. Antler handles, no markings. Looks hand made honestly, like someone bought it at a farmers market.

Shout out to my 16-17 y/o ikea kitchen knife. Cost me ~$16. Use it almost everyday. No moving parts, but I mean it just shows people how much I have it together. >..>

Oh, the fucking dank-ass mattress that came with my rental is probably old enough. Might as well be a king size sheet of twenty year old wet plywood with mysterious stains.

*Shout out to my 15 y/o, 1080p pro-scan monitor. Still works like new.
