I've been waiting for a four day week since the spinning jenny.

Oh, a 4 day work week will come, with 4 hours of work per day (after an hour commute), to avoid paying you benefits. You'll need 2 or three of those jobs to pay rent along with your roommates.

As Lenin said, "Если кто не хочет трудиться, тот и не ешь", which roughly translated means "celui qui ne veut pas travailler n'a pas le droit de manger".

No, but seriously I think it should bring a zero-day workweek for almost everybody, eventually. Which would be a huge problem if it happens fast because not many of us know what to do with that much free time.

My workplace has hybrid system. 3 days in office and 2 days remotely.

It has shifted so, that people work their ass off during those 3 days using AI as much as possible and during those two remote days they just sit on their asses with a laptop running in the background, mouse jigger on.

A full screen PowerPoint/Google Slides also keeps your machine awake.

Oh Bernie Bernie Bernie. AI is 95% vaporware. Stop fretting about the shit they claim they'll produce but never will.

(Obviously changing technology requires some legal changes. Yes yes. But focus on the real shit that's already happened, not the bullshit they are promising.)

AI CEOs: How about a 0 day workweek (because we want to fire all you plebs)

Bless uncle Bernie, but the US is in no state to even consider this. It has installed capitalism as its king.

Elect reps that support all these measure Sanders is always creating.

I honestly probably only actually do three days worth of actual productive work a week, the other two days are spent in meetings which are necessary because management like to change procedures on a bi monthly basis, just to show everyone how in charge they are.
