Did it actually work? Or is the article just claiming it did. I admit I didn't even think about watching this, given how badly the continuation of the last seasons went.

People need to stop viewing med school as a continuation of Scrubs, it was supposed to be a spin off, but execs had to meddle.
The scrubs revival series is amazing. It feels just like og Scrubs. I was surprised at how well everyone fell back into their rolls after such a long time. They didn't miss a beat.
If you were to rate all the revivals of different shows to date Scrubs would be a 10/10 with the closest contender being 6/10. It's really that good.
It definitely did for me. I hated that last season they tried, but this one brought everything back to where it should be. Classic moments of comedy and feels, great character updates, and the new faces weren't annoying or weirdly jammed in. I'd recommend it.
They said the janitor should be more in the next season too. I'm excited for it. Scrubs and Futurama have been good with their latest reboot.
KotH too, although recasting Dale instead of giving him an electronic voice box was a mistake.

Yeah, if you're a Scrubs fan, it's good. It feels like classic Scrubs, and the new characters all work for the most part. It's nothing like the spin-off/season 9 if that's what you're afraid of.
The bar is so low these days that a half-assed reboot is considered "good".
