You know, I forgot he also did that Same Love song, so I'm not surprised after remembering that.

Pro tip for an easy life: choose Macklemore's side when someone brings it up, unless you surround yourself with zionists, billionaires, and the sheep they herd.
The strange thing for me is: it's not like Macklemore has been silent about his views on the Gaza genocide until now. "Fucked up" is not a very subtle song and has been released over a year ago

That video was absolutely limited in exposure by our loving technowizard overlords. It was starting to go viral, and got age restricted and magically stopped.
I was just reacquainting myself with some of his music, and I have to say, it’s good. It’s always been good: extremely well-produced, well-made, and empathetic.
But it has most certainly aged out of its time, and not particularly gracefully. The Heist, for example, is an immaculate representation of the early 2010s.
He’s adapted somewhat to this decade, but you can still feel the remnants of his heyday.
That being said, I fully stand with him and support the statements he made on stage.
Walk up in the lemmyverse like, what up I got a big cock. Nah, I’m just pumped a celeb is calling out genocide.
That's one crusty-ass gif
I generally prefer using as low res as I can, help w fediverse costs and I don't know what other folks' data situation is...
Imgflip gifs are ass coming straight from their site
Clearly not a Seattleite.
Well you would be outraged to know about Ryan Lewis...

You know what? Can't Hold Us is a good song.
Not good enough to get me to give his other music a try, but still.
I think Arrows is pretty good. It was probably written by the other guy who was credited lol
Went from Macklemore to mackleless
really? who among us can claim to have mackled more than he?
You speak the true true
More like:
Living? Well that’s a capitalistic crime I’ve never been crucified before…
Or “slightly being okay without condemning everything I know to the death penalty?” “Well that’s a capitalist crime I didn’t know before…
