But it does have banned emulsifiers. This stuff will give you a heart attack.
How well must they emulsify to be banned?
No, i mean the chemical they are using is banned in the US, and it got banned in 2024 or 2025. All they did was rename it and they are still using it
It's been proven that the emulsifiers in Americans peanutbutter causes heart attacks.
What's the name of the emulsifier?
The only ingredients in the peanutbutter I get are salt and peanuts.
Carboxymethylcelluose, glycerol monostearate, distilled monoglyceride.
These are found in American peanutbutter. They cause ibs, gut bacteria death, and heart disease.
They are banned in a ton of countries.
They way you know you have real peanut butter is you can see the separation of oil, and you need to mix before using.
I used to prefer that stuff but I have kinda colon/stomach thing where the oil shoots straight through me and I shit it all out in like 30 minutes
These chemicals cause the breakdown of your mucus layer, causing (leaky gut)

FWIW, I've seen PB sold like this at local Amish stores as well... so not necessarily anathema in the USA.

Yeah, and extruded plastic too... I've never quite got how they got it, I think they're a subsect of the true Amish. They're allowed to interact with us heathens, as long as it's to take our money lol

They sell kerrygold at Walmart. It's definitely some of the pricier butters there, but it's not exclusive to the bougie places.

You know how easy is too make peanut butter? Americans place cook and stop giving money to good industry.
It’s incredibly cheap at the store and it’s not like homemade is better as long as you don’t buy the doctored stuff at the store. Also, do you really expect everyone to have a dedicated grinder in their home? That is incredibly environmentally wasteful for no benefit.
You at least need a food processor or a good blender.
Peanuts themselves aren't all that cheap. The best you could do is get cans from costco, they sell them as a loss leader.
