They really believe it.

Religion is what allows imperialists to brainwash their subjects into supporting evil. It allows the demonization of out-groups and the justification for a holy war, where soldiers willfully go forth to murder and die for their deity.

The real goal is acquisition of land and resources for the ruling class. That’s the way it’s always been. Abrahamic religion is just fascism with the blame deflected to a capricious old man in the sky.

I'm convinced that the religious are in a constant state of cognitive dissonance and they behave like this as a coping mechanism. Anyone who believes in their religion this strongly needs an extreme mental health intervention.

Israel is different.

The amount of propaganda that is fed to Jewish people worldwide to create the narrative that they're superior and God's chosen people is unbelievable. All this so they move to Israel and settle there, providing "legitimacy" to Israel's claim of being the Jewish homeland.

I believe there was a Jewish content creator from Brooklyn or something who talked about this extensively, how common it is from childhood to be repeatedly told that you're superior to your peers because God said so
