It's almost as if you could not use AI and hire people to do the same work and actually save money.
We get $100 a month and most never come close. Mostly use it for typing boiler plate and code reviews. It's autocomplete to save some typing. It can't replace your thinking or you're going to have a bad time.

I mean I'm not a fan of Ai but that kinda makes sense to prevent expensive loops. An example being I know Google gemini has(and has had for several versions) a bug where it can get stuck repeatedly reading a file. I saw a video from a YouTuber which got stuck in this loop, it cost him 183 dollars in 40 minutes. What if he started it and then went home on a Friday evening? I just did a quick calculation based on it running 5pm Friday till 9am Monday and it would cost $17, 568 setting a limit to prevent this type of issue makes sense. Fun fact, by random chance there's exactly 96 intervals of 40 minutes over that time frame.
Ha! My monthly budget is $20. I do most of my AI assisted coding with local models, and use the $20 worth of higher quality AI for code reviews.
