Part of American propaganda is we don't talk about our incredibly dire water situation. If you don't live in a place that has a direct issue, like Flint, you don't know that the water supply is balanced on a knife edge, or that the infrastructure is crumbling and making the drinkable water we do have unsafe. Or about how many aquifers get fouled by the oil industry.

This place is a dumpster fire.
