I don't know if it's a national app or what but we have ads around here for a gambling app named "JackPocket" and I can't help but wonder how much the board was giggling about that name when they agreed on it.

Yep, I just wanted to be specific about which AI named ADA I was talking about.
I have yet to encounter a gas station pump that displays ads that hasn't been wholly vandalized to the point of non-functionality. I think I'd have to find a gas station being built the day they install the pumps to actually see them working. And then I would break them myself.
There are a couple of American Express cards that give you 3% cash back on Gas (including one with a low annual fee, that also gives 6% back on groceries up to the first $6000 spent per year).
That helps.
There's a gas station chain near me that doesn't play ads, usually has the best prices, and gives 10c off per gallon if you use their app linked to a checking account...that helps, too.
I miss the days when that was the better deal...
