Only thing I can think to make it better would be a paper clip with googly eyes.
I'm gonna print clippy off and put him on there, that's such a good idea
It looks like you're trying to make an 00s throwback joke. Can I help you with that?
=P
¯_(ツ)_/¯ maybe
And a disclaimer about how AI was not used to make it
Sarcasm?
The design is intended to signal an absolute rejection of AI just through aesthetics
Oof, I actually made some Clippy fanart not too long ago! And I also made a cooler, more suave version, portraying what Clippy would have looked like, if he had been a free and open source paperclip instead. I'll see if I can find it when I get home!
Does your wife take requests?
A loaf of sourdough with cheddar and jalapeno please.
I already have a bake at work, but I will gladly be fat for bread. If bread was good enough for our ancestors, its good enough for me damnt!
Excuse me, I am the baker.
She is the finishing graphic designer
But who is the candlestick maker?
Is that a joke I'm not privy to?
In retrospect 'finishing graphic designer' was not a suitable euphamism for butcher.
I was thinking of a nursery rhyme. Jack Sprat perhaps. "The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker."
Apologies.
Thank you for brining joy to the world
Sourdough with a jalapeño cheddar cream cheese filling would be even better! Kind of like how the Asian bakeries do it. So creamy and delicious.
You have enlightened me.
Praise be to the bread Gods.
OMG finally the best video on the internet is CONTEXTUALLY RELEVANT
How have I never seen that!?

I love you
I have waited ten years for this moment a single drop of tear
Wait. Free sourdough bread? Where!?
"2000s" != "ASCII-era". But cool regardless.
To be fair, I included that in my guidance to influence the overall vibe, not be chronologically precise
Also, I've always known stuff like this ¯_(ツ)_/¯ as ASCII characters and the more complicated pictures as ASCII art. So they were two separate, but related topics that I hoped she would synthesize
And boy did she
¯\_(ツ)_/¯*
Also, this specific example isn't ASCII art, it's some other encoding which I forgot the name of, Japanese characters, variable width (in bytes). Common for it to be drawn using Arial or a metric compatible font rather than any monospace.
Note that "ASCII" art also refers to 8-bit extensions of the encoding, where "oldskool ASCII art" means strictly the actual 7-bit set. Not to be confused with ANSI art, which is the same as ASCII but with ANSI control characters, like for changing color.
"text art" is what I usually call everything combined, including art on the Commodore systems, only very recently made possible with Unicode officially. Anyways, I don't really see any of it on the image...
Your wife seems like she's a badass
That just revived some arcane knowledge I had forgotten.
That was so good and so bad
I said arcane for a reason and it's definitely not because it's magic.
You've been added to the Best of Lemmy: https://sh.itjust.works/post/67791129

graphic design is clearly her passion
Needs comic sans!
The "I only put out bread the day it's baked" is Comic Sans, isn't it?
The evil truth of sourdough is that it takes about the same amount of time and effort to make four loaves as it does to make one.
Exactly, the only limiting factors are the size of my oven, refrigerator, and how often my wife will tolerate the house being hot as balls
This would make me want to come more often tbh
It's like a visual representation of the average persons William Shatner impression
Microsoft Word '97, huh? I liked that one. You knew where you stood with Microsoft Word '97.
Quality meme skills. I'd say marry her, but you already did.
