The USA don't have a Ministry of Education, their country has barely any history to teach, and they deny climate change and vaccines effectiveness. They elected a pedophile and a convicted felon as president of their country, which has the largest military budget and the second largest nuclear arsenal in the world. Sure, leave UNESCO, leave everything except Israel, both are in the same class of State.

Just another step in destroying the US reputation - maybe they want to drill in Yellowstone, Yosemite and the Grand Canyon.

Thats the plan, yes. Trump has been wanting to edit the poem on the statue of liberty's plaque for years and theres a bill in congress now to carve his face on Mt Rushmore. He's also renaming the Kennedy center to be the "first lady melania trump opera house", and renaming mt denali in Alaska.

I bet he asked for Mar A Lago to get heritage site status and they laughed at him so he’s getting revenge by pulling the US out.

"UNESCO's decision to admit the 'State of Palestine' as a member state is highly problematic, contrary to US policy, and contributed to the proliferation of anti-Israel rhetoric within the organization," Bruce said

Check his pockets on the way out, might have seen something shiny.
