Prunes, I also really like freeze dried strawberries and buy bags of that when they have them at costco

Prunes are actually so nice. You get really shifty looks from people if you suggest it but it's just a cheap, nice food.
I am not employed by nor promoting this company, I've just been a loyal customer for 5 years: j i m my j o y d o t c o m has quick effortless convenient foods that provide 100% RDA of all nutrients in a rectangular bar that looks & tastes like rice crispy treats, and their powdered shakes. I live in USA but people who live in Europe get even more options like savory soups and more variety of flavors of bars & shakes. I'm particularly envious of their Speculoos flavor and cherry pie flavor and savory soups that aren't available in USA. And it's all VERY inexpensive.
Nuts.
Nuts are awesome, but it's so easy to go from healthy serving to "whoops I'll just hit the gym harder tomorrow".
One cashew = damn I have to run a marathon to burn this off now.
Nuts and berries, the stuff is too good
Also nuts but I prefer raw or at least unsalted. Cashews, almonds, pecans, walnuts
Banana is hard to beat for convenience. I'd say a close second for me is either mixed nuts or sumo oranges
Those little sumo oranges are so tasty!
String cheese
things you can say while the europeans are asleep
Hahahaha didn’t even think about that!
Maybe I should’ve said a spoonful of peanut butter as well ;)
Your existence actually kind of makes me happy.
<3
With its phallic shape string cheese is a deeply anti-feminist snack.
You should have a mango or orange instead.
Is it still anti-feminist if I string it myself without the help of a man?
What if I have a harem of men peel an orange for me?
Hmmm...I have things to think about....
I don't think any of that is anti-feminist. Things that would probably be anti-feminist are things that take away from women primarily because they are a woman.
What's anti-feminist about phallic shape? At that point wouldn't peach be the most feminist?
Thank you for reminding me I still have a couple sticks I gotta use!
Oats. We do a two-day oat diet a few times a year, with three meals a day consisting of 80g of oats and half a liter of tea or broth.
I make a big batch of tasty high-fiber granola and keep it in the freezer. Almost every day I have some with Greek yogurt and berries.
Smart, yogurt and berries are massive in terms of health.
Whole jar of pickles? That's probably healthy, right?

Beans, rice, veggies. Put in frying pan, fill with water, turn to low simmer, walk away for 40-60 min. Until the water is gone, basically. I use ~140g dry beans, rice gets eyeballed depending on how hungry I am at the moment. Up to a quarter cup? Beans stay consistent due to soaking. Veggies are whatever I have on hand. I like to mix in leafy stuff after it's done though. That's about two meals, which will keep for a day, maybe two unrefrigerated. Flavor profile is muted and heavily seasoning dependent, so you can still have "variety" without having to plan ahead.
Do you put a lid on it or just walk away?
That sounds like a perfect lazy meal for me, thanks for the tips.
No lid, you want the water to boil off. Otherwise you have sad soup. Personally, I actually fry it a bit after the water boils off, get a little bit of crispy on the edges
Probably something that is very easy in a ricecooker too
Cheese.
Cheese is not exactly healthy. Lots of saturated fats.
Cheese.
Maybe. Cheese also has protein, and is pretty good at making you feel full. Any snack i eat less of is a healthy snack
There’s also a protective element in dairy, at least in animals. I believe they haven’t been able to create human studies to prove this either way
Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast
Bananas are good. I like yogurt as well when I have it. Lately in the convenience but not healthy is a single Hawaiian roll because they help with my stomach acid problem.
Bananas with peanut butter
Canned sardines are my quick go-to brunch if I’m too lazy to prepare anything. I’ll usually have leftover rice in the fridge. Then I can quickly cook an egg too.
Grapes 🤣
Green olives
Straight from the tree!
Ka prao, green curry, tuna salad with bits of apple and pickle, skin on chicken in a dutch oven with a pan sauce. All of these take 10 minutes to an hour in the case of the dutch oven. I cook rice in a rice cooker consistantly so I always have some rice in the fridge I can add to whatever asian dish I'm currently in the mood to make. Those are pretty fast. Also, I'd highly recommend making large amounts of food and freezing the left overs in deli cups.
An Apple a day. For real.
Not too fancy, I know :)
Olives and carrots with hot sauce.
Coconut Water.
Chia seed “pudding”, but with water to make them expand. I’ll eat plain if particularly pressed for time. Usually I add granola or some maple syrup for flavor.
