Smell-o-vision. If it became real I would send people videos of people farting as a joke.
They reset all your settings after an upgrade and remove the options to turn them back on.
On one hand I like when we had removable batteries, jacks etc. But on the other hand, I like how computers (smartphones) got so easy to handle by the masses.
Redmi still has microSD slot, 2 sim cards, IR blaster, headphone jack.
What you should worry more about is not this, it is how locked it is to run your own software in it. Want to unlock bootloader? then create an account, have a sim inserted, apply for unlock using internet, wait 14 days or maybe 32, who knows? wipe all your data. and voila, you unlocked your phone.
Also the absence of screws and use of glue. Want to fix the wobbly USB input yourself? nah, just take it to a repair shop.
