You did not resist

Have a marmalade boy, he hated being touched on the tummy. Now he's older (11) and loves the tummy rubs. He mellowed out lol. There is hope!

Same with my cat being picked up!

Oh man, I hope that happens with my rescue! Unfortunately, because she has high anxiety, she gets scared and doesn't like being picked up... so the only time I pick her up is to go to the vet, which is stressful and scary... It's a vicious cycle!

Yep! Same here! My girl used to never let anyone touch her there. Now she asks me for tummy rubs regularly! It's so very sweet. It only took her about 13 years to warm up to it, haha! I'm just glad she knows she's safe enough to do so. <3

She has a face that says, "C'mon, you know you want to."

Have you tried rubbing your face on their belly instead?

My cats seemed to know not to use their claws if I did that. They still grabbed my head and tried to chew my hair though 🤣

Pet that belly immediately.

What a cute flufftrap you have

Why resist? It's worth the scratches

It's a trap!

You can live with only one hand. Do it.
