Interesting, I was doubting your Al Jazeera assertion, but it's true. They literally haven't posted one article about him, when he has been in the news for years.

Yeah it's important to note which news outlets belong to who. Journalists can have a bit of maneuverability within their owners limited range of criticism.

Yeah I mean Qatar is a dictatorship. When it comes to non-domestic news they’re a surprisingly centrist source up to journalist standards but when it comes to anything related to Qatar of course they’re not gonna be critical.

Weirdly enough this used to be something western countries rightfully criticized, but nowadays this criticism is hypocritical given the whole Palestine situation.

That being said this is of course super fucked up.
