What could possibly go wrong..?

One of the big problems with this is that it'll devalue the qualification that Kiwis hold in the eyes of the international community

There are bigger factors at play than the pointy-headed idiots in the Kiwi government can understand

It's not meant to be safe, its meant to be cheap.

From the government lead by an ex-airline executive, who'd have definitely paid his pilots less if he could.

It's always "free market" until it's a labor market... not enough pilots? Pay more. Remember there's a lead time on getting more into training.
