The situation is far more complicated than anyone is saying out loud.
Most people don't understand the geopolitical ramifications of Palestine existing, or weakening Israel.
This whole thing is a global proxy war between the west and a bunch of middle eastern countries. Even China has its own involvement on the side of the middle eastern group, though behind the scenes rather than overt.
Unfortunately it's almost entirely a one sided genocide of the Palestinian people as a result.
The whole recognition of Palestine at this point is mostly just to stem the anger of the general populations in Western countries, but it will also allow these countries to keep supporting Israel behind the scenes in order to keep a lid on the middle eastern powers.
Which Middle Eastern powers are we talking about here?
Iran and their supporters?
I mean.. Like with most things, just follow the money.
Hamas is not buying and building their own weapons, Palestinians are dirt poor. Where's the money and weapons coming from?
We all know the west is dumping money into Israel.
This is how you understand modern geopolitical situations.

Anything someone signs is only worth what can be enforced. Nobody can enforce the situation here against the countries that have chosen to be involved, so having that is worthless.
A bunch of big countries commit war crimes pretty regularly too, the US, Russia, even Ukraine, definitely China.... India killer a Canadian on Canadian soil not too long ago for political reasons.
If there's no enforcement, rules are worthless.

The government is not arresting people just for speaking out in defence of Palestine; there have been mass protests and even a high-profile charity concert in London just the other day.
The arrests are people specifically protesting in support of Palestine Action, an activist group that the government designated a terrorist organisation after members broke into an RAF airbase and vandalised aircraft.
The guardian podcast said differently, randomly arresting people for terror for peotesting the issue no mention of the proscribed.

Not justification, I never said I agree with the arrests. I’m just sharing the facts of the situation.
Palestinian actions goal is to effectively do damage to military equipment's used in the genocide and the whole reason the u.k designed them as terrorists is exactly this , only allowing protests that won't change anything . So yes the facts of the situation is that the uk is arresting people supporting the end of the genocide and support for palestine
Mandela was the founder of the paramilitary wing of the ANC, which had a bloody campaign of bombings, murders, armed robberies, and massacres in South Africa and neighbouring countries. He very much was a terrorist.

You seems to be from the uk, if it is the case your country was responsible for more terrorism then anti apartheid leaders fighting for black liberation in south africa
