I read about Tailscale securing funding and also was scared enshitification would ensue. I really hope their promise to keep non-enterprise as it is and not claw it back is true. I am way too relient on that now 🫀

It's a matter of when, not if, that happens. And in that situation there's headscale but also Netbird, among other services. And of course, there's also just plain wireguard 😏

Not my content, but always interesting. Since the author always uses refs in his links I set this one to lemmy. Hopefully he'll be posting on lemmy in the near future ;)

Not your post, either ;) We're c/selfhosted around these parts.

Yeah yeah. For some people self hosting is a lot about pirating content :-) Just trying to make lemmy happen...

Looks like someone asked Ethan about posting to Lemmy, and they replied "Thanks for sharing -- adding it to the list of places to post!".

I had "install Linkwarden" on my todo list; Hoarder/Karakeep seems very similar, does anyone have opinions on which is better?

[–] myrmidex@slrpnk.net 3 points 1 week ago

I went from Linkwarden to Readeck, I prefer the latter's firefox extension. Haven't tried karakeep yet, not sure if I will, still very content with Readeck.
