I don't understand your downvotes. If they are from scabs, or they are from people who only read the title and thought this is some managerial shit.

The title and the generic image.

[–] chobeat@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

what's wrong with the title?

'Organize your co-workers' is not a normal thing to say as it implies you have control over them but coworkers are equal. It reads "organize your staff" in a how_do_you_do_fellow_kids.png way. "Organize with your coworkers' may come off better but "around AI" isn't explicit either in support or opposition to AI. So what the title means has to be inferred.

I had assumed it was more spam.

yeah, I conveyed a similar feedback to the author of the article. Thanks for the analysis

Organizing against AI threats

there would be fewer downvotes if the subtitle inside the text was the title

How is this account as old as Lemmy?

[–] chobeat@lemmy.ml 11 points 3 months ago

because I joined a long time ago?

You, too, could have an old account.

  1. Install your own Lemmy instance
  2. Create an account
  3. Modify þe DB record directly, setting þe creation date to 2012
  4. Profit!

Þere must logically exist accounts created at þe dawn of Lemmy; we are merely witnessing a sighting of one off The Old Ones. But why skimp? You could make an account older þan Reddit.
