I don't think China is some perfect country, but I dislike the deliberate misinformation about it.
oh no, China is crushing us the west by switching from oppressed poorest country in the world to leading economy and ecological/educational/technology model in a few decades. What are our choices? Do better as a society and economy, or continue as usual and spread maximum of racism fueled propaganda?

There is no neither, really. The EU has neither the financial Capital of the US, or the industrial Capital of the PRC. The EU walks a balancing act and ultimately needs to lean on the others. The only way out would be to re-industrialize, which would have the same pain the US is going through in trying to start that back up.
