Identity-centered neoliberalism was literally invented by the CIA and promoted in Western academia by them to undermine the left. I consider both neoliberals and "traditional" liberals as part of the libertarian right.

Not quite that, but liberals (who frequently identify as leftist) do tend to have blind trust in western aligned media despite the constant lies when it comes to geopolitics. I've seen many liberals that I otherwise respect express happiness about the kidnapping while simultaneously saying the US is doing something bad either because it's a precedent or because it can turn into an all out war. And I get it, but you don't both sides this kind of thing. The US has killed countless Venezuelans already with sanctions, and recently murdered fishermen and now bombed other Venezuelans. The Trump administration is also threatening other countries in the region and he's recently meddled in at least a few elections, going as far as stealing the one in Honduras. Our governments don't need to be perfect to deserve sovereignty and respect.
