A government employee that can just execute people with impunity seems... tyrannical.
Like even if theyre executing people you dont like surely Americans who have made "freedom" a key part of their identity have to acknowledge that this isn't the way.
Hold on, he might be on to something here... Time to become an ICE agent and put the limits of that "absolute immunity" to the test.
"Legitimate law enforcement operations", and I'm putting extra emphasis on the word legitimate, have a specific target with a warrant for their arrest by a judge or district attorney in the jurisdiction of the operation. They follow the laws themselves and give proper rights to the apprehended individual such as contact with their lawyer, habeas corpus, holding time limitations, etc.
That's not what ICE does. ICE are a bunch of criminal thugs going after anyone and everyone. Some of them can barely read or write, and they're going out shooting people to death in the streets.
By telling these thugs that they have absolute immunity, he's encouraging violence.
