Arrested for allegedly selling sensitive info, not, you know, the one thing Epstein is known for.

Police are investigating Mandelson over claims he passed sensitive government information to Epstein a decade and a half ago. He does not face allegations of sexual misconduct.

The minor stuff is implied in what was released. The disclosure of confidential documents is right there. If they get them on those charges, I won’t be weeping tears for them, and with a bit of luck more stuff surfaces during the investigation

It's entirely possible Britain just doesn't have many players or their cases are being built up. The USA, on the other hand, is the host nation and has yet to do anything. Americans just fully support pedophila, apparently.

Americans just fully support pedophila, apparently.

Totally, this must be why every candidate associated with Donald has lost their election in 2025 and 2026 (so far) and someone tried to infiltrate Mar-A-Lago and assassinate him this week.

The truth is we want justice but our government has turned against us, so STFU.

We've been through all of this shit before. Trump has consistently evaded justice at every level, not even the assassins can shoot straight. Until he can't leave his bunker without getting gunned down America is going to burn, simple as.

Fair points all around. The only thing that is going to stop Donald is his own body failing, and as we saw with Kissinger, that's not exactly an optimistic thing as he could live to be 100 too.

I highly doubt his body will make it to the end of the year. He's already had one stroke on camera, and even the best medical care on the planet has its limits.

We'll see. If it were to happen, I would just like for it to happen before he radically warps or erects other public monuments.

It's hilarious* that no amount of child rape will move the police to do anything, but the second an errant dime jumps to the other side of the ledger, it's mass arrests of princes and politicians.

* Horrifying

His emails containing confidential information are in the Epstein files. There’s the damning evidence.

You must know rape is much harder to investigate and prove.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 month ago

And so far there is no evidence that Mandy was involved in the rape. Just the influence-peddling and (probably) selling state secrets.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Yes, true.
However, the question is would any of this have ever happened if money or trade secrets weren't involved?

Obviously we don't know what's happening behind closed doors, but it does seem like:
"Kiddies are being trafficked, and raped. There are even accusations of murder."
"Oh no, how terrible. Let's wait then inevitably do nothing about this."
"Hey, remember about those kids being raped etc, well apparently money and secrets were being exchanged as well."
"OUTRAGEOUS. We must do something about this!!"

Either way, I'm happy something is being done. And I'll be even more happy if people see consequences for their crimes.

Oh no how unfortunate.
