Kennedy made the swipe at the Democratic lawmaker during an interview with Fox News, saying she is "kind of like Vice President Kamala Harris, but with more bartending experience." He went on to say that she has "never been accused of being a policy maven."

AOC reacted on social media, saying "my having been a waitress makes me 1000x more qualified to govern on behalf of working people than whatever lifelong politician nonsense you've swung from your whole career."

"Why should working people vote for you if this is what you think of them?," she added.

She actually made me a margarita once at Mexican place on 15th St.

It was good. So was the conversation.

That’s awesome! Also, kinda neat being able to tell a story about how you once ordered a drink from a now-sitting congressperson!

She was really cool. We talked for a while about all kinds of civic issues. I had no idea who she was at the time or that she would end up running for Congress. I was disappointed that I couldn’t vote for her because I was not in her district. I voted for Hakeem Jeffries… What a disappointment he turned out to be.

Man, that’s awesome! Kinda jealous you had that opportunity.

Also, bummer about Jeffries, I agree. Dude’s shown himself to be about as useful as tits on a bull.

That margarita must be really good then, she’s still good at her job. I’ll vote for her

Their slimy veneer has been off for a while.

The retort means nothing because those types think the working class shouldn’t have the right to vote to begin with. Dude was showing his ass with smug pride.

And yet, so many working class people support these GOP ghouls who look them in the face and tell them they're worthless (figuratively speaking).

Because propaganda is such a drug, it can even convince people to act against their own interests.
