According to Trump's tariffs, he doesn't really want anyone doing business with the US.

The art of the deal: Remove your own leverage and then try to use it to negotiate.
What a stable, genius idea!
Trump's word is worth less than a gallon of Iranian fuel
America worst.
Not a massive leap on the how-fucked-are-we-ometer but the upward trend continues.
How is it trump doesn't understand that the USA has so much power because we treat our allies and trade partners well and that they benefit out of doing business with us. All the crap he's pulling is making it not worth trying to do business with the USA.
Trump says any country that buys oil from Iran will not be allowed to do any business with U.S.
The rest of the world is getting much closer to saying: "Your terms are acceptable. We won't do business with the USA"
I don't know if I would go as far as saying you treated allies and friends well, but it certainly used to be mutually beneficial on the whole at least
yeah he doen't get what mutual benefit is. he can't actually do deals, all he can do is be a loudmouthed clown.
Honestly, he could just bomb Iranian oil infrastructure, has explicitly stated within the past month that he will bomb Iran if Iran doesn't comply, and my guess is that that'd be a Plan B. Like, the Trump administration doesn't lack for leverage here if it wants to terminate Iran's ability to deal in oil.
Trump threatens bombing if Iran does not make nuclear deal
WASHINGTON, March 30 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran on Sunday with bombing and secondary tariffs if Tehran did not come to an agreement with Washington over its nuclear program.
America has a lot of guns but it's just not smart to fight every battle you can.
he knows--or rather has been told this, i'm sure--repeatedly. but he's just "following orders"
Where does the US get the oil from? 🤔
China does.
Why does he like to ~~embarce~~ embarrass himself?
Edit: Corrected spelling mistake. Thanks /u/rc__buggy
Russia probably does too
Good luck with meddling in OPEC, Trump. Lol.
Respectfully, Trump says a lot of things...
How are you going to prove this? Oh right.
