"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

Hello there. It’s nice to meet you all.

Some months ago, I did research on the A’C’P. It’s quite horrifying that many people cannot see the evident psyop they are. I wouldn’t be surprised if they clap whenever Hammoud or Hinkle publicly give a reactionary statement.

What I am interested in is the Midwestern Marx Institute, which I glossed over. I know many notorious members are part of that nazbol abomination, but I haven’t read much about them.

From what I’ve seen, people like Carlos Garrido behave similarly to Jackson Hinkle when he goes abroad. They pretend to be internationalists/anti-imperialists, but they behave in the exact opposite way in the US.

I’ll be looking forward to your answers.

Kind regards

Their name is correct, it's the 'mid' and 'western' marx institute (with this and a commenter pointing out ACP stands for Anti-Communist Psyop honestly I wonder how they pick their names lol).

We have some info on them here: https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/Midwestern_Marx. follow the blue links to the names to read more afterwards. As a whole their 'institute' is basically tailist. The problem with tailism is eventually you stop tailing and just start following the reactionaries.

There's three guys in it, primarily.

Edward Smith is, there's not really any other way to put it, a midwit - to loosely reuse their name lol. Self-important clout chaser who thinks the following makes the theorist. His entire reason for living is that he peaked in high school when he was a wrestler, and since then has been trying to relive these glory days. He once posted this to Twitter:

Sorry for imposing this sight on you but that way you can see we have the receipts lol. It's in his prolewiki page, like I said you should read it afterwards it has a lot more info. Dude was posting thirst traps and trying to get some sympathy points by comparing himself to the GENOCIDE in Gaza.

Noah Krachvik is the second guy of this boy's club. His whole thing, having talked to him (against my will!) a few times on social media, is that he craves to be relatable and approachable. He talks in the most faux-reddit way, like I don't know how else to put it. Super online "Hello friendo!" shtick that just grates me to no end. Noah Krachvik is also not his real name but it's not that it's a pseudonym, he claims it's his real name like to the point he uses it for everything - e.g. he signed a Noah Krachvik signature onto the ACP constituting document. He is also known for posting pictures of run-down places that he says is "his neighborhood" but he's done it all over the country. Just a complete liar through and through, this guy is creepy as fuck honestly.

Carlos Guerrido/Guerrida (I always get it wrong not even making a joke lol) ~~has a PhD in philosophy from what I understand, or at least he says he does~~ (edit: he was a PhD student, but doesn't mention it anymore at all), and now that he doesn't know what to do with it, he charges people up to 80$ a head for a "marxism seminar" he was teaching (archive). He also sells books on the side. 80$ a pop, no possibility of financing or offering free seats.

He also writes books, that he sells of course - no copy is available unless you look on annas-archive and such. I opened one of his books that was recommended once just to see what was in it, and it opened with what you'd expect a philosophy major to write: deep as a puddle but wide as the ocean, he was seriously pretending Xeno's paradox of motion was some profound insight that not many people knew about, and wrote in the most complicated way possible to say some pretty basic stuff. Self-published and did not go through an editor, which is fine, but then why write a book? Why not make it into a blog article? Oh but you can't charge people 25 bucks for a blog... I'm trying to find the book but I need to look deeper.

Carlos' other claim to fame is that he is of Cuban origins, because as we all know, anyone who is ever born in AES is a saint and instantly born with the knowledge of dialectics into them.

Oh, they used to have Danny Shaw at the institute and the guy had a falling out with the ACP, because he was a nazi, and he didn't like that the ACP was not nazi enough.

So yeah that about sums it up

I haven't looked into MWM yet. I just wanted to add a funny anecdote about the ACP. I walked in on my fiancé's parents watching Hinkle on YouTube. They were binging Candace Owens and Tommy Robbins conspiracy slop/muslim fear mongering and didn't even bat an eyelid when it switched over to Hinkle. The messaging is so similar they just thought he was another one of the 'good guys'. I talk them he was the founder of the American' Communist' Party, the mother nearly fell over scrambling fir the remote to change the channel. I had a good chuckle at their expense.

If people can't distinguish you from the fascists by the points you make and how you discuss them. Then your likely a fascist

"MAGAcommunism"'s whole thing was to tail the reactionaries. Every communist told them that doesn't work, you'll just become reactionaries yourself, and they kept saying "nah trust it'll happen". Then it happened, and they said "sike we were reactionaries all along"

I watched a few Midwestern Marx Institute videos in 2024 when I was more new to Marxist-Leninist and however they quickly they turned towards Patriotic Socialism and starting to incorporate it into their viewpoints and I stopped watching them because they dismissed the idea of settler colonialism because they could not handle the fact that Americans colonized, stole the lands of, and gencoided the Native Americans. The Deprogram subreddit users had started warning people that they had become a Patriotic Socialist channel. Shortly after that they started supporting American nationalism and talking how the founder fathers would have supported communism. Even though if you read about Bourgeois revolution they would know the founding fathers are of the bourgeoisie class and common sense would tell them not to support slave owners.

They were cosplaying as Marxist-Leninist for some time before they started to quickly become Patriotic Socialists allowing to develop a fan base. They started promoted the idea that the working class was mostly MAGA and that in order to reach those people they need to have Communism that would cater to MAGA people trying to show people that MAGA and Communists were not that different and were pushing for the same goals. They started calling their "version" of Communism, "Communism with American characteristics" even though it was just extreme American nationalism with a bit of Communist terminology thrown in there.

Since the CIA is known to promote the idea of ‘far left and far right are both authoritarian and thus equally bad’ I am 100% convinced this organisation is also run by feds who want to further blur the distinction between leftism and fascism.

They are making people who are attracted to leftist aesthetics and accidentally end up at these places actively promote the right.

Nazbols should not interview with RT. I saw Haz on RT livestream a year ago.

[–] ArcticFoxSmiles@lemmygrad.ml 8 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

RT will now interview anyone who is at all critical against the United States government. RT America was pretty good back in the day and had fostered left-wing voices like Abby Martin, Lee Camp, Max Blumenthal, and Chris Hedges, however that was shutdown by the U.S. government. With the shutdown of RT American and especially Russia's ban on same-sex marriage RT started to cater more to conservatives and right-wingers who talk about how they support Russian government over the United States government.

Iirc, MWM was at one point a pretty run-of-the-mill ML online publication/agitprop collective. There's one main guy that makes tiktoks or whatever. There's an account, Southerncatholicmarxist, who split from them maybe 4 years ago when they started trending more obviously patsoc. I think MWM is just the one guy at this point, but I dont keep up with them.
