How will they be unskippable?
Currently, most of the 30 sec+ ads let you skip them after 5 seconds or so. Seems like that is going away. I dont think they are injecting ads directly into videos yet, so ad block should still work

Genuinely no idea why people keep on using YouTube. There are countless quality alternatives, from Vimeo to PeerTube to torrents.
I only watch for shows not anywhere else. For instance, Tested, Perkins Brothers, Sabine, Louis Rossman, TechMoan, Just have a think, William Spaniel, etc.
Nah.
I gave up some time back and bought Premium Lite, it's cheap enough and I extensively watch YouTube on TV. At least the creators get a cut I guess...
