A condo just sold in Palo Alto, California for $5.3 million dollars. The top floor is a separate condo and not included but it's selling for $4.9 million.

The living space features three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths and a detached guest house.

Price sounds about normal for San Francisco Bay. The more interesting question is why it has half a bath.

Probably just a toilet with no shower. Common for larger living spaces.

3 bedroom, 3.5 baths, and a detached guesthouse. This isn't some studio apartment. It's a lot, but it's also by no stretch of imagination the most insanely priced house on the market?
