Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, accused the US and Israel of orchestrating a ‘diabolical plot’, claiming they copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone design and repurposed it as a modified ‘Lucas’ drone to falsely blame Tehran for drone attacks across the region.

Wreckage is the ultimate test.

If there is doubt about a particular strike, comb the wreckage. The flying product looks the same, but motors and electrical parts are different, the way of laminating fiberglass, the sort of fiberglass, etc.

Already read speculation Isreal was behind launching some of them to try an draw in more countries and while it's unproven, to me it sounds like a very Isreali kind of thing to do.

didn't the US just outright say they had copies of Shahed drones early on? I remember when it started they'd annouced on the news they'd blown something up with copies of Iran's 'suicide drones' and wondered why they bothered to clone them when they have so many other options.

It’s going to be very interesting to see how Americans react when there’s a false flag attack in our own country

Putin very likely blew up apartments buildings in Russia to create necessary context for his illiberal policies. So there's precedent...

I seriously anticipate a large false flag on the US this year, probably sometime around September or October

I mean, is he? This is a good tactic to cause division and mistrust among US allies in the region.

Iran: We will continue to attack our neighbors if they aid the US to attack us

Also Iran: We didn't attack our neighbors.

wreckage

They did not say, they didnt attack!

[–] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 8 points 4 hours ago

I mean this (truthfulness aside) allows them to claim some attacks and reject others while also discrediting Israel (and by extension America). There's no contradiction here.
