We had already had a Trump term, we knew exactly what he is. I might give a tiny bit of credence to people who voted for him in 2016 because they believed the bullshit and then regretted voting for him. But this time, no way. And we all knew this time would be worse.

Small businesses are pressing congressmen to do something to save their local industries but congressmen are afraid to cross Trump, so once again the country is crashing and burning. We saw this during Covid but voters decided to give him another try.

The fact that the entirety of project 2025 was freely available online BEFORE the election, and people STILL voted for it, is proof enough for me that I never have to care about politics again in my entire life. People get what they deserve, end of. That includes myself. All of us underestimated the effort required. Now it's too late.
Nah, it's still fighting time. Go to a protest; it'll make you feel better.
Better yet, look for socialist organizations while at those protests. We've overthrown monarchs and fascists, there are playbooks for this that have worked before. Caveat: some orgs are better than others, so check out a few before putting in your time.
