This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

Spain's renewables build-out has structurally decoupled its electricity prices from gas markets.

Gas now sets the price in only 15% of hours, compared to 90% in Italy.

Countries that invested early in clean power are far less exposed to fossil fuel price shocks.

This is a pretty quick flip around from Western media previously laughing at Spain for having a power outage that they blamed on renewables. Let's see who is laughing now.

The important thing is that your power grid is building toward the future, not being stuck in the past.

a role model in weathering Iranian oil shocks

A very niche skill to be sure; the real, persistently useful skill is in weathering the consequences of America's wars; would literally only become irrelevant when America swears off all wars (which, like, come on)

We cannot predict the future, especially Trump's actions. Right now, Spain is proving to be resilient and sovereign.

Of course, if there will be a nuclear world war, it will be useless, but as future is uncertain, it is worth the effort.

Goddamnit, why can't the rest of Europe be like Spain?

Lowkirkenuinely Spain has been giving me a lot of hope. Other than that monarchy fuckery a while back, they've been pretty consistent with their dubs
