Nobody cares. People that don't care about Bitcoin don't care. People that do care about Bitcoin don't care. Nobody cares.

What an absolute waste of investigative journalism time and resources when everyone that's not in the Epstein files is screaming for those to be investigated and the DOJ to be pressured to properly release the properly redacted files.

JFC. The house is on fire, but lets go find the neighbors lost dog.

Why would every journalist focus on the Epstein files? You do know there are other things going on in the world, right? And since the Democrats don't intend on holding anyone in the files accountable anyway, even if they retake Congress, what exactly are you hoping a journalist is going to accomplish?

That was just one example. There are many other topics worthy of serious investigative journalism. This was not one of them. This is just tabloid gossip "journalism."

"The Cypherpunks interacted mostly through something called an internet mailing list"

He really lost me when he got all technical with this jargon.

Spoiler: Adam Back, one of the usual suspects. Wake me up when someone acknowledges being Satoshi and proves they can access the original Satoshi wallets. Otherwise this is more guesswork.

Newsweek also claimed once that they found him. They were full of shit and made clickbait piece about some poor old guy who happened to have surname "Nakamoto". No proof were ever given

Adam Back is going to disappear soon, won't he? Billions in bitcoin, he is a huge target

[–] luizcavalcanti@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

I don't think he is a target because nobody with skin in the game (aka speculating in crypto) cares about this. If he is wrong, tho, I would sue him to hell, if I was the falsely-appointed creator

Nothing new here. There are more videos/posts pointing to some others as well, like Sergey Ivancheglo.

Reallllly thin.

Just sign the message with Satoshi PGP key or with first block mining address and I'm sold. Otherwise GTFO

why can't it be founders instead of a founder?

Maybe it's the 2 that were in the top 20. Maybe they're still telling the truth when they say "i'm not Satoshi", because they are SatoshiNakamoto.

Bullshit. Guy that is credited is launching some business venture, this is part of a pr campaign of sorts, hype.
