A community for comic lovers who just want to get away from politics and gloom and doom.

Rule 1 - Be civil.
Rule 2 - Don't be uncivil.

Posting guidelines:

No political comics. This generally includes anything referencing whatever bullshit Trump is up to, but also includes the megacorps. Essentially if the comic is about how the world today sucks, it doesn't belong here.
Where possible, tag the title with [comic name]. This refers to the name of the artist or overall comic, not the title of the specific strip.
Tag NSFW / NSFL / AI content accordingly.

It's been a running joke since pretty much my 1st post in this comm, that somebody will find a way to explain how my comic post is political. Despite me making it pretty obvious in the sidebar that I'm referring to a very specific flavor of politics.

I've been rolling with them, since I find them more eye-rolling amusing than annoying. However it seems that others might be getting annoyed with them, which I can understand.

IF YOU ARE A PART OF THIS COMMUNITY, chime in with your opinion here. Should we continue to allow free for all comments, or subject them to the same restrictions on (particular) politics as the posts?

If you are already against the point of this community for whatever reason, please refrain from joining in the discussion.

Update: Based on the feedback and the amount of upvotes in the comments, it seems clear there's a general consensus in favour of keeping the comments clear of politics as well. I'm somewhat busy at the moment but will get to updating the sidebar when I can. In the meantime, I'll begin removing comments that break the rule, though I won't be issuing any bans.
