94$ USD, and no mention of how much is in a bottle... Sus.

Is it legal in the US to sell something without telling you how much is inside? Seems insane
Blind bags and all kinds of novelty items don’t have to tell you what’s inside/how much if they do a nifty trick called marketing it as a display/novelty and mark it as not for use/consumption
I mean, sure. but in this case it's clearly inteded for consumtion
All the taste and none of the point. Weeeee.
It doesn't even have the taste. I've tried non alcoholic bourbon, they replace the kick with a lot of cinnamon. It tastes like cinnamon and fake smoke flavor. If I hadn't seen the bottle I would have thought it was meant to be a steak rub.
Non -alcoholic drinks really only serve 2 main purposes - to let kids think they're cool (my dad told me they used to do this with non-alcoholic beer when he was a kid) and to give to sober people at an event with alcohol. And I don't even know how much that second one is the case. Maybe it's just something people use in their cooking I don't know.
There's a local shop that sells non alcoholic spirits exclusively. The owners are all alcoholics. I've often wondered if it's healthy for them to drink it, even if doesn't contain any alcohol it seems like keeping he same sort of habits might trigger something in them. But it's not for me to judge.
1991 wants its comment back.
Modern zero alcohol beers are actually good and more refreshing in hot weather without the alcohol. You can now buy craft brewery zero beers that are better.
Why would anybody bear to drink Tequila or Gin, if it's not for the buzz?
Ask any Starfleet crew? 😅
Some people like the taste. A lot of their use in drinks makes the drink have a great depth to taste.
I think this about anyone drinking any form of alcohol, it seems like the only potential upside is the social lube but this is just a skill issue if you need alcohol to be a functional human
So this is obviously not actually any type of inebriant, correct?
I've read articles going all the way back to 2009 where researchers have been working on alcohol alternatives. But this is not it and is just marketing. Just zero proof tequila and gin with "Star Trek" slapped on the bottle, correct?
But how does it compare to Tea, Earl Grey, Hot.
What in blazes is this?!
The Original Zero Proof, Gin Alternative, Non Alcoholic Spirit Synthehol, The Original Zero Proof, Tequila Alternative Non Alcoholic Spirit Born in the 24th century, Synthehol was the Federation's answer to an alcohol alternative
So flavored water for $94.

@SaveTheTuaHawk @Lushed_Lungfish The point of synthehol in Star Trek is that you feel drunk and have all the side effects of being drunk until you decide not to.
Can this stuff do this?
It's overpriced flavored water, like all alcohol substitutes. Huge fucking ripoff industry.
A lot of the value in alcohol is in the flavorings, not the ethanol.
A lot of the value of alcohol is taxes. So why are they charging $94 for flavored water.
Finally we have made Synthol, from the critically acclaimed show "Synthol is bad tasting" by gene rodenbery
Hey… XB’s can get intoxicated. So it is pleasurable for some.
Cool, but how does it compare to agave syrup in water or juniper in water.
No thanks, just pass me a bottle of Green.
That’s one of the cocktails you can get around the Rio during STLV.
I need this but I moved to the EU :(
