Fun fact killing the pope is an instant excommunication. It can be argued that Vance DID kill the pope or speed up his death by demanding that Frank leave the hospital to meet with him, ergo Vance needs to be excommunicated.

Old pope appointed the bishops who appointed new pope so liberal was pretty much guaranteed. The American thing was a surprise.
I'm not catholic anymore but I'm getting real sick of people who converted because they like the vibes the religion had in the fucking 1500s.
“Progressive values” - do they even read the new testament? Compassion is the overt message of the Jesus they claim to follow.
They follow supply side Jesus, the prosperity gospel, and gravitate towards passages that they can use as a cudgel on people who are ew gross yucky to them.

According to headlines lately, MAGA melts down fucking constantly. I hypothesize that they're actually just liquid. They aren't 'melting down', this is just their natural state.
