Ah. The good ol days when "cartoons are for kids". I think South Park finally shattered that illusion.
The Flintstones was originally run at prime time for adults and their families. This wasn't broken by South Park. Even the Simpsons did it before South Park did it

That was never on Saturday morning cartoons. The Denise if the Saturday morning occurred by the beginning of the 90s. Ren and Stimpy was after and on Nickelodeon. Saturday morning cartoons was on the big 3.
