It was down Thursday. It came back up overnight.
It depends on the school, my old university shut it down indefinitely and is advising profs on how they can hold their classes on other platforms

Between Canvas, Moodle, and the other older platforms I tried, I actually like Canvas the most. It was clean and easy to use. Other than this recent cybersecurity incident, I didn't have any complaints with it
Years ago, my college switched from Blackboard to Canvas while I was a student there. It was a HUGE upgrade. Canvas is fine. I mean, aside from the problem at hand, obviously.
