I'd like the billionaires to be put in prison as well. Is this on the table?

Usually memes like this, the math doesn't math. But it's a nice idea.
Tax them how?
It’s complicated but depending on how they’re taxed you might not get shit out of them.
IMHO it's a global problem and American exceptionalism won't solve it.
Billionaires in general need to cease to exist. Bloodshed is coming mark my words.
I mean, they're not going to increase my pay, ever, so fuck yeah, that sounds good
I want someone to run on the platform of simply... "Donald Trump hisself cost this country X" then calculate how much the taxpayers have spent on non-Presidential standard crap that Mr Cheetos has gotten, find a way to reverse all that money back into the pockets of teachers.
That's the entire platform
I disagree, Bernie doesn't go far enough. All large corporations are to be nationalised, and ran under workers control.
All rent collectors are to be stripped from they're plunder and are to attend weekly struggle sessions with previous renters.
And most importantly, we overthrow the dictatorship of the capitalist class and replace it with our own proletariat dictatorship of the working class under democratic centralism.
I think that percentage should be much higher. Like once you've hit a million, 100% of anything more goes right back to the community. Social programs, housing, healthcare, etc.
Put $5k into index funds per year, you will have $2m when you retire (assuming a conservative 8% annual gain). Now add in your home's value, etc. Retired middle class workers often have wealth over $1m.
Nobody will support taking pap's hard earned retirement money.
Eh, it's a compromise, but I can live with it.
I literally see no downsides. I’m in full support.
No. It doesn't go far enough.
After a certain point, both personal and corporate wealth should be 100% taxed, with loopholes closed and massive penalties imposed on any who previously exploited them. Government critters should solely live on salaries, unable to buy or sell stocks, nor receive 'gifts'.
I haven't heard a bad idea from him yet!
It's a timid start, but it's a start
I can only get so hard…
