Nope, I'm simply respecting your right to free speech. You have the right to say and think, 'Billionaires deserve to die.' That's your First Amendment right, and I respect your right to think it. However, at the exact same time, I 100% also have the right to say, 'You deserve cancer. I hope your kids get cancer, and if your 5-year-old son dies in a school shooting, he deserves it.'
Yeah, you do have a right to say it, and I have a right to clown on you for making yourself a social pariah

Whatever I do, I never make an edgy, passive-aggressive post about it on a general use internet community.
Happens daily to me. That's life in a service industry. You deal with it.
What could I, as a customer, do to make your day brighter?
Friend, just be kind and respectful. Whether it's a teenager asking if you want fries with that, a retail worker helping ring up your purchases or a service tech fixing something for you, having good manners, not actively wasting their time or creating headaches for them, and having a bit of patience when we're both frustrated with a system that doesn't make it easy for you or us is a delight. Do your best to raise your kids to do the same, and remember it could just as easily be them on the receiving end. Most people are just fine. You can't fix other people. You can make it socially costly to be an asshole, so any chance you get, do so.
I already do that, but sometimes I wonder if I could do just a little more to help make up for all the assholes. And myself for the days when I'm the asshole.
Don't make the same dumbass joke we've heard a million times "ope, didn't scan, must be free", other than that, just don't lose your patience with someone who legitimately cannot defend themselves without getting fired

Don't beat yourself up over being human. We all have our limits of what we can and can't do, and a customer can only do so much. Stand up for labor, support unions whenever you can, I know that's harder than it used to be, use your vote, and your voice when you're able to demand better for all of us. Those are what you can do as a citizen. I know it's abstract, I know they aren't perfect solutions, but it's better than where things are. And maybe we can all work on being better neighbours too. Remember, the most you can do is always working with others as a community.

Can someone explain to me what exactly the downvotes storm is? I mean it's a weird question sure but, what's happening
There's been a bunch of accounts that all ask the same weird questions, that all seem blurrily related in a bad way. The names mentioned above are some of the ones that are quite definitely from the same person/bot.
They are also almost constantly not real questions, but statements said in a fake interrogative manner.
I don't care. Wishes and prayers don't come true, so the people saying that to me can eat a dick and keep hoping.
