That headline is misleading. Yes they are getting paid, but as part of engagement revenue. Just like Google, tiktok, Instagram, etc.

Sad as hell that grifting using right wing propaganda is so profitable.

And before you say I am defending meta here, I am not. It's a misleading headline, and participation in meta products is explicit support for these people, because YOU are paying for it by being the product being sold to advertisers.

Corporations are evil, don't participate.

I guess if Canada wants to keep Alberta around, they should likely do something... considering it's their power grid and network, and province.
