They aren't but legality is nothing without enforcement and pigs are the types who think this shit "goes hard" so they let it slide unless they can use it against someone who hurts their little egos.

Pretty sure that tint isn't legal.

Current California laws say it has to allow 70% light transmission... So 30% tinted.
