Well this makes the situation make more sense. How could you possibly make a profit setting up these factories in America without the use of essentially slave labor?

All the soulless companies that employ temporary tech workers in the US for the mega corporations here just collectively got erections. This is their goal.
I think the story neuromancer had workers who would show up have their brain chip turn them into meat puppets for 8 hours then they would wake up not knowing what they had done to earn their checks. It was a cheap labor scheme for day workers or prostitutes. I still think that's really the capitalist goal.
