The mental gymnastics behind this one… The carbon footprint is associated with using the plane, not making it duh! What on earth are we doing?

We are letting the billionaire parasites get away with polluting and destroying the planet and biosphere. I think we need to roll out the guillotines.

LMFAO! The whole thing is some doublethink BS, but this line really got me!

The court noted that the Commission had failed to take into account that private jets could be flown on sustainable fuel.

Is the sustainable jet fuel in the room with us?

[–] Nouvellalia@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

It's the screams of children. The billionaires are already creating and endless supply. Using them as fuel actually saves the environment. Like culling deer.

The Commission also failed to consider that a private jet could crash, killing a billionaire, with a net positive effect for the Planet. Private jet manufacturing can be a very green activity if those private jets are not manufactured very well.

Europe Set to Embrace Natural Gas as a “Green Investment”

The European Union recently announced plans to label natural gas as a sustainable fuel in the continent’s energy mix as it seeks to both lower emissions while meeting consumer demands for power generation.

You never know. Could be natural gas fueling said private planes!

There may come a time when judges understand the details of what they are adjudicating on. This group seem to be at sea.
