Fuck pelosi, but also fuck NY Post and murdoch even more, please don't click the article and give them views. OP can you link to a different site that isn't run by an arch capitalist hobgoblin.

Tell us what stocks to buy Nancy.

[–] mydude@lemmy.world 1 points 6 minutes ago

Love the picture down right. It looks like; "Yeah I did it! I managed to fix nothing for 40 years!" wow... She really did suck hard.

When I see 85 I assume it's an obituary, not a retirement. Pelosi is retiring from Congress at 85 years old. This is obscenity. We need an age limit for government positions, and it's going to have to come from the ground up because they will never do it themselves.

Anyway, bye Nancy. You did suck.

I remember my great grandmother at 85 and my great great aunt at the same age. They were not fit for the dinner table let alone public office. I don't care how good modern medicine is. They are stuck in the past and should NOT be leading the country.

I hate that these motherfuckers only work like four months out of the whole year and spend the rest of it insider trading legally.

Members of the House of Representatives serve a fixed term of 2 years. Nancy is in her 20th term. That means she had people vote for her for roughly 40 years.

This suggests that US drinking water systems still contain a significant amount of lead.

It's indicative of our primary system and how the major parties operate. Mitch McConnell is another good example of this. Same with Feinstein, and even RBG. Bernie Sanders is still in his seat. He's too old even if people like him. Pass the torch or watch it fall.

Mike Johnson: "Hold my beer."

I'm really concerned that the bar is so low now that voters are going to hold their noses for the midterm primaries and go for candidates somewhere in between Pelosi and Johnson "so they have a chance."

She was awful, but she was also corrupt.

[–] massive_bereavement@fedia.io 8 points 2 hours ago

She had an amazing run as a day trader, a shame she got distracted by her sidegig in Congress.

[–] unmagical@lemmy.ml 20 points 4 hours ago

Well, you won't be missed.

[–] mrdown@lemmy.world 11 points 3 hours ago

Good riddance

Truly the worst in a highly contentious race. A testament to her awfulness. I do hope to read the obit soon

She was the worst… her legacy is a shit stain

100% agreed. And yet a tiny part of me roots for her because an even more vile creature currently soiling the White House hates her guts.

[–] CountVon@sh.itjust.works 11 points 3 hours ago

I know, but... The opportunity cost of her occupying that position! Imagine if we'd had someone actually willing to exercise power to rein in Trump, instead of someone making tut tut noises while conducting massive insider trading. She deserves all the dragging we can muster.

[–] Brkdncr@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Surely she did good things earlier in her career?

[–] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 14 points 3 hours ago

Oh absolutely, she did amazing on the stock market.

[–] mrmisses@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

Was she really worse than the current piece of shit? I mean, it's possible, but hard to imagine. I feel like I wouldn't have to ask this though if it was true
