Her: What are you thinking about?

Fun fact: women spend more time refuting casually sexist claims than men spend making them.

I'd agree with that,

I'd also rue the fact you have to. Hope the majority of you get a break soon.

You missed an entire generation there. Though I’m not entirely sure if I should be offended.

Don't complain, Gen X might be forgotten but at least you don't get shit on lol.

"When you do everything absolutely right, it/you doesn't get noticed."

Naw. That's legit. Gen X is the reason this tw*t is in office and I'm not proud of it. There are quite a few in my generation that "being forgotten/ignored" as a parenting practice proved to not be the right answer for. There are a lot of struggling Gen Xers.

Please judge Gen X on how we thought you could take your hands off the wheel (unregulated kids) and it'll turn out right... When we were born, boomers left us on a straight flat road. The millennials got a bumpy, curvy road (the Internet is Big and extended families are getting smaller) and realized they had to hold on for dear life.

I think they have it fuckin hard and are doing amazing/their best with it.

That's all.

Do they wonder what men are thinking? Or do they know exactly what they are thinking and it’s the worst case scenario every time?

Damn, 2 months ago? I must have been in a fight with my wife at the time…

What's the point of making over generalizing statements like this?

Relatable humor. The women in my life ask me about what I'm thinking often enough that it made me chuckle, mostly because being asked results in forgetting what I was thinking about if it was a passing thought.

In this case it is poking fun at the stereotype, which is true just often enough for it to be funny. Kind of like the memes where the two are in bed and she assumes the worst and he is thinking about Pokemon or something else innocuous.
