Wish it said what the domestic computing systems were. Is it just Linux? Chinese Linux distros? HarmonyOS? Or are they talking more about hardware, like Huawei or Lenovo servers? Or domestic scientific computing acceleration hardware?

China launches platform to help research software run on domestic computing systems
(www.bastillepost.com)
I'm assuming they would mean specific tools for research here. But open source and domestic stack for the rest is important as well.
My guess is it could just be instrument control and analysis software. These tend to be proprietary and notoriously expensive with the added benefit of only being made for Windows (and you get to buy a new license when Windows pushes an upgrade that breaks the software).
Considering Europe cucked hard for US, may China, once again, marxspeed and grow on software area too offering rest of the world choices for avoiding american products and services.
