The poll does not break down if people are not buying it because they object to some aspect of the release or they are not buying it because the game does not appeal to them. It makes it sound like there is a large boycott of the game when it could just be GTA indifferents (like me) stuffing the ballot box.

For me, the satire was the best part of the GTA franchise. After San Andreas the quality of the writing really suffered IMHO.

If it turns out basically everyone has a copy I'll need to get him one, you know how it is, and with the license-share on our xboxs itll mean I'll get a copy too. Hopefully the youth of today are actually a lot more politically-minded than i imagine, or the cost of living crisis will mean nearly no parents buy it for them, but I bet I'm going to be buying it.

I really enjoyed GTA 5. I bought it twice in two different systems. I’ll eventually play 6, but it’s gotta be for a sale. Fuck the $80 price tag, and fuck Rockstar union busting and I hope they unionize hard.

Maybe when the Ultimate version is <$50 on PC in a few years. That'll give time for big bug fixes and dlc to come out. AAA games just aren't worth getting at launch anymore.

I tried GTA5 when EpicGames had it as a freebe and put it away after about an hour because the characters were so awefull and stupid, I could not stand it at all. That and driving the cars felt bad, there was nothing fun in the game for me. GTA just stopped being a game for me when it went 3D

I'll buy it if/when it comes out on PC. I loved GTA 3, 4, and 5. I finished 3 and 4, never finished 5 but still love exploring and roaming the map.

I voted no. I have zero interest in GTA games.

Voted yes day 1 standard edition but the reality is more I will wait a bit and see if it's as enticing as have the other ones. So I won't wait for a sale or anything. I used to buy consoles just for GTA games :-), not gonna do that but I might get hyped.

I will consider the Ultimate Edition on PC once I know what it entails.
