No fawning coverage of Thunberg’s activism from the Times this time. No Hollywood big shot saying that he hoped her trip would “spark a movement.”

Just because their propaganda pieces aligns with one's political beliefs at times, doesn't mean they have Journalistic Integrity.

Whatever they say or fail to say, she's got guts. I support her, I support her spirit, I support this movement, and hope to fuck she doesn't die. We need more of her.

For anyone interested here's the link to track the Madleen, the boat she's on.

https://freedomflotilla.org/ffc-tracker/

They made a course correction yesterday to help a sos ship, and today the tracking stopped after they resumed course.

The link at the bottom of the page is at least still live and updating every 10 minutes with some kind of data.

Did someone go overboard?

(That triangle move looks like the classic search pattern for someone in the water)

Looks like tracking was stopped and then resumed but map on that the page isn't using the updated link?

i wish people could become aware of how much the nyt and npr are propaganda mouthpieces for the status quo.

I wouldn’t combine NYT and NPR in the same category. NPR has been broadcasting a lot of stories about Israeli attacks on Gaza civilians in both their news and long form podcasts.

[–] eldavi@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 day ago

they carried the exact same fentyanl kitchen story that the nyt did and among a multitude of other manufactured narratives and consent stories.

.ml user says NPR is propaganda. More at 11.

N(ice) P(olite) R(epublicans) have been mainlining Cato, AEI, and Heritage Foundation spokespeople into the national discourse since the Bush Era, at least.

This has gone hand-in-hand with the erosion of public funding and the increased reliance on private mega-donors to keep the network afloat. This is well documented. The network is beholden to its biggest donors in the exact same way privately financed political campaigns are used to influence legislation and judicial action.

NPR Infomercial for Its Sponsor Amazon Omits Labor and Environmental Criticisms

A direct transcript, in which NPR Asks a Starving Palestinian Living On Rubble to Denounce Hamas, Co-Sign his Own Ethnic Cleansing

Just to highlight a few glaring instances.

Where do you see heritage foundation in that? Who are the people?

Considering you're a known troll, and none of those links highlight anything other than a commercial and yes Hamas sucks...
