Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here. This includes using AI responses and summaries.

Obviously. Motherfucker made even Nixon look very mild in comparison.

[–] sunsofold@lemmy.zip 3 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

We can only hope. Trump has so many people who despise him, it would be an incredible feat for America to elect a president people hate more.

[–] FreeLikeGNU@lemmy.world 1 points 8 hours ago

I thought this about every leader that has brought shame to us, then I'm somehow surprised about how bad the next one is in ways I could not even imagine. We might get a little reprieve now and then and maybe even some hope that things are getting better. Then the whip snaps. Shame on my lack of imagination.

A more interesting question is when he learns he has a place in history as the most hated, corrupt, self-destructive President ever, is he enough of a narcissist toonly care that he has a place in history?

[–] Pollo_Jack@lemmy.world 8 points 13 hours ago

He's likely the most hated US citizen.

[–] nieceandtows@programming.dev 2 points 9 hours ago

Objectively, he would be the most polarizing President.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago

Chomo Caligula is probably in the running to be the most hated person of all time

If we can get out of this somehow: Yes. He will live in infamy. Worse than Nixon. Will be compared to modern day Hitler without the direct genocide

If we don't and become like China where one party rules: then no. All history books will be forced to praise him to say he is the best president there ever was and the Trump Dynasty was a literal godsend for our Christian loving God fearing country. Anything less than this or actual criticism will be considered unamerican which will be grounds for being charged as an ANTIFA terrorist resulting in immediate revocation of citizenship per the SAFE act which passed in 2029 by a stunning supermajority of the GOP after the DOJ ordered the immediate disbandment of democratic party due to radical points of view which have been linked to ANTIFA. This was due to the national emergency declaration in 2028. The president despite suffering an overwhelming loss in the elections said that 2028 elections were tainted with fraud from China with the help from ANTIFA to "destabilize our great nation" and declared "communism will not win." He ended with that elections will return once "pure votes" can be counted and we have a nationalized system in place. The department of war has ensured "order will continue during the emergency."

Is 14 million dead over the course of a decade considered direct enough to be genocide? Or does that have to be localized in one area? Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ask whatever search engine: "How many people is dismantling USAID going to kill, how many has it already killed, and when was that data last updated?"

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 3 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Genocide is generally considered a direct act against a culture, ethnicity, or religion with the intentions to destroy them in one form or another. For example if I dropped a nuke on say Salt Lake City because fuck Mormons that would be genocide, if I cutoff trade to say Twin Falls Idaho due to resource disputes and mass death occurred that would just be a mass casualty event with human rights violations involved.

It's a definitional thing and frankly cutting USAID doesn't quite hit the definition at least without proven intent. Who knows maybe it'll come out that Musk purposefully fucked with it because he is racist and not just because he is a callous dipshit. That would push it into the genocide category.

Time will tell, I suppose. Thanks for the answer!

[–] mriormro@lemmy.zip 0 points 10 hours ago

I don’t think you understand what that word means.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 1 points 9 hours ago

100% correct! The Mango Fuck Up Mussolini wrecked the USA.

[–] KarlHungus42@lemmy.world 9 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Dumbest - yes Most incompetent - yes Most corrupt - yes Most criminal - yes Most hated? - not yet

Because of the fucking cult base he's created, whose loyalty is reinforced by faux news, and do not question anything he says.

[–] heartSagan5@lemmy.zip 1 points 13 hours ago

You’re underselling P2025’s effects.

[–] Bluedragon012@lemmy.world 3 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

He isn't a president, he's a fascist and a child humper. End of story.

[–] mriormro@lemmy.zip 3 points 10 hours ago

Nope, still president. He embodies most of what America currently represents.

[–] HertzDentalBar@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 13 hours ago

Yes but in the same way he gets more votes than any other president, there's just more people than there used to be.

[–] umbraroze@slrpnk.net 19 points 21 hours ago

(Insert that thing from The Simpsons)

No, the most hated US president so far.

[–] abc@suppo.fi 11 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

Even though it's a highly contested competition, I think he might have a shot at the most hated person of the century.

I would still pick Putin though, given his numerous other crimes and how he's most probably responsible for Trump.

[–] Smoogs@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago)

i hope the citizens who voted for him are the most hated too. kind of like how people looked at german people after hitler was allowed to happen on their watch.

only this is possibly worse as he has flagrant dementia. like wtf is wrong with a person to think that was a good vote. that's full on neglect, enabling and elder abuse all rolled into one decision.

[–] kaotic@lemmy.world 25 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Most hated president? He’s on my list of most hated humans.

[–] Someone8765210932@lemmy.world 7 points 19 hours ago

He does fit, but remember: He's just the symptom and if the Republicans wanted too, Trump would be gone in 24h. There are just many evil people who keep Trump were he is while pushing him one way or the other to get what they want.

Trump has been an awful human being long before he became president, so no sympathy needed, but what is being done to him is elder abuse.

[–] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 38 points 1 day ago

Easily without a doubt. He has the lowest approval rating of any president before he stopped them from tracking it.

[–] HrabiaVulpes@europe.pub 54 points 1 day ago (4 children)

He will be the most hated american president SO FAR. I believe in americans, they can do worse.

[–] mirshafie@europe.pub 36 points 1 day ago

Remember, George Bush Jr was so hated that Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize simply for not being George Bush Jr.

I think he's the most hated living person in the history of the world, if you go by number of people who hate him. There were less than half as many people around when Hitler was alive.

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago (9 children)

Yep, at least the most hated since polling, and definitely the most hated in living memory

He's not the reason why the civilised world sneers at 'Murica, but he's a huge symptom of it

I never thought I'd see the day when we look back at Reagan and the Bushes as the less-shit of the modern presidents of that backwards shit hole country
