I have an 86 45 shirt I used to wear during the first term. When the comey bullshit first hit the news, my father called me and told me how I shouldn’t wear violent messages, told me that I’d better watch my back if I wore something like that again. I hung up and ordered an 86 47 shirt. Wearing it today in fact.

I’m so tired of all these attempts on his life.

I’ll let you decide where the emphasis belongs in this sentence.

The fact that someone even asks this question tells me there is something deeply wrong with the culture these days. No shade on you OP, I’m sure you are a good person. But it’s obvious that corporate propaganda has worked extremely well.

No, absolutely not, you are well within your rights to buy off brand and second hand equipment. Heck, I consider it a moral victory in avoiding the hellish markups the big brands put on their consumables.

Push back when kind of question comes up, we have to counter the propaganda, otherwise it will soon become law. I’m certain home tool manufacturers would move to a printer ink model in a heartbeat. It’s bad enough that there isn’t a universal battery mount as it is.

With how fucking slow windows has gotten on my work PC with all the copilot bullshit, I’m pretty sure MS is doing the same thing. No proof, just a painfully slow machine after getting all the AI updates..

I hate having that machine in my house, on my network.

He’s only concerned because he knows his and his allies actions are so bad, one might say biblically bad, that he’s trying to control the narrative to look in another direction.

So, create more power vacuums for the unscupulous to exploit.

I mean, gotta start somewhere. I too would like to see more direct action in play but we’re trying to motivate nations here, tens or hundreds of millions of people.

Take no kings, I get that it’s been toothless, but it built a large following and the next one is calling for action. It probably won’t work, probably won’t be enough, but it will build momentum, and the next gets more, the next more still. This is obviously US focused (I’m American but this shit has gone global).

It took them a very long time to infiltrate the governments, this has been going on for decades. We won’t be able to solve it in a weekend. It’s going to take time and hard work to fix this shit.

If this thread is any indication, we’re cooked. If this many people are willing to give the government the benefit of the doubt, after what we’re dealing with…

This will not be benign, it will seem innocent at first, but we’ll have given up yet another seemingly simple thing that will eventually be used against us.
